Im giving one star since I can leave it as zero. I have been waiting months to be seen by Mr Coakley since he is one of the few people specialized in fatigue related illnesses. I do not understand what the point of taking interest in this field is if he is not willing to treat, test or offer anything useful and tangible to treat his patients. The fact that he still has a job is fathomless to me. Stay away if you are in need of real help as the only thing he would advise you on is to “KEEP POSITIVE” to be able to get cured and to do BRAIN-RETRAINING programs, as he believes any other sort of treatment, medications and protocols that have been tested amongst thousands as well as backed up by hundreds of studies, are just PLACEBO. But apparently you can get cured from years of Long COVID and ME by retraining your brain. Also tells you to sleep less and to never nap, when it has again, been proven for years that sleep is absolutely necessary and to not restrict it when you deal with illnesses such as LC, ME, etc. This appointment was insulting to say the least.

I saw Dr Coakley for severe and sudden joint pains and stiffness. As a doctor myself, I was worried that I had develop rheumatoid arthritis. Dr Coakley correctly reassured me it was more likely reactive arthritis. He was knowledgeable, and able to answer my questions clearly. I would certainly recommend Dr Coakley, without hesitation.

Dr Coakley was very empathetic and took time listening to me. He understood the problems i was having and recommended a course of treatment that I fully agreed with.
