I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr Das not too long after collapsing at home with no answers as to why this had happened to me. I searched for consultants and found Dr Das and I felt he was the right consultant for me as I was happy with what I had read about his expertise and knowledge within his specialist field. I emailed his secretary with brief details about what had happened and the symptoms I was experiencing and how desperate I was for answers and a solution to what was going on with my body. I received a response within just a couple of hours and an appointment just days later. At my consultation Dr Das was warm, very patient, he listened and didn’t miss anything in his notes. I never felt rushed and he carefully explained what the plan would be for investigating my health issue further. He discussed with me what he thought the health condition could possibly be by taking notes about family history and current medical ailments. Dr Das described what all the tests would be for and reassured me that it’s a good process of elimination and to not worry. I would describe Dr Das as thorough and he would be a doctor that would leave no stone unturned. I was informed that if I needed to reach out if I had any pressing questions or concerns I could do so. This was very reassuring and he was true to his word. Dr Das was able to assist me by ensuring I was calm for the MRI scan and talked through my fears to put me at ease. He understood that as a mum of a young family this unexpected health matter had turned my life upside down and I wanted to get back to being well and watch my children grow up. I would recommend Dr Das without hesitation. His follow up consultation was as thorough as his investigative one and I am now on a road to recovery just weeks after collapsing all thanks to his help, knowledge and experience. I am very grateful to have had an exceptional consultant in Dr Das to have assisted me back to good health.
