Dr Devinder Bansi has been my Doctor for a few years now In general when it comes to medical competence the training the NHS gives makes it pretty much a level playing field with many Doctors who are accomplished in their own field. Where it makes a huge difference is the care and the human touch you get from the Doctor that makes all the difference. Another important factor when dealing with unexpected ailments is the accessibility to the Doctor. Today you need a Doctor you can talk to and not hide behind their secretary, being able to pick up the phone or text and get a quick reply is hugely reassuring at a time when things are confusing and stressful. Dr Devinder Bansi, ticks all the above, accessible competent and takes the time and care to not only explain as much as possible but make sure you have understood and are happy with the explanation. Add to that an exceptional caring human nature where he makes you feel that you are not alone and he is there for you at all times whenever needed. Consultations with Dr Bansi come to an end not when the clock has run out but when he is satisfied that you have understood and feel as comfortable as possible with the prognosis and the treatment plan. Total profesional and available to his patience. When I had a complication at 6 in the morning on a saturday, getting hold of him did not take long and I was put at ease. He put a plan in place to deal with the issue and followed through at every stage texting me regularky to see how I was. Being available for your patient is the most valuable part of private care. Would have no hesitation to recomend him

It must be difficult to be a good doctor . You have to have lots of knowledge, the ability to reason and diagnose, the instinct that comes with experience, Manual dexterity if you perform procedures,. kindness, patience, respectfullness and at least a little passion for your work. This really is too much to ask of one human being so it's not surprising that doctors fall short of patients expectations. Dr Bansi is the closest thing to ideal, that I've seen in my half century on this earth. So I thought that I'd do this review by way of thanks.
