The first time I saw Dr Maguire it was so bad I cried when I came away. Her manner was hard to believe. I justified it in my own mind that we all have “off days”. My second visit, a year later, was just the same. I was disgusted by the “advice” which was plainly incorrect. From the moment she called me in her manner was frosty, uncaring and disinterested. I have over 25 years’ experience in the NHS working with surgeons, fabulous physicians and the occasional professor. I have never encountered anybody so rude. When one isn’t feeling well a good bedside manner can be medicine in itself. Dr Maguire would benefit from further training in everyday decency. A quiet word from the Medical Director would be a good idea.
