I was a little apprehensive when I went into Goring Hall for a hip replacement. But was put at ease by Dr Uncles who came to see me prior to the operation. I had a preference for an epidural rather than a general anaesthetic. This was performed and after what seemed a short while, Dr Uncles was by my side telling me that everything went well. A great relief - and I felt fine!
