Dr Uncles had a confident and reassuring manner; he clearly and carefully explained what would happen and was able to answer questions without using jargon in the ward before the operation. It was then good to see the same person in the pre-op room just before going into surgery his relaxing banter helped to allay any anxiety. I also had no ill effects from the anaesthetic.
