I recently had an operation and was very worried about receiving a general anaesthetic . Dr Uncles was so reassuring and talked me through the alternatives and I agreed to have a regional anaesthetic plus something to make me very relaxed. I am pleased to say that the combination worked very well. I was aware of the activity but I felt no pain at all. What impressed me was his air of calm, compassion and ability to explain the anaesthetic procedure in such an uncomplicated way.
