I was operated on 15 February for a revision of a previous hip replacement under Mr Shah and Dr Uncles as Anaesthetist. I had not met him before. I found he had a very pleasant manner, explaining what procedure he was going to adopt and why he felt that was the best for my recovery. He went through the hospital notes in detail and asking about my medical history and did I have any particular concerns. I mentioned about a fairly large bridge which had detached on Xmas Eve and the temporary repair made. He put my mind at rest on a couple of points I had and I felt at ease during the whole process. I think he would be an ideal Dr for young children undergoing surgery - his name helps! He has the right bedside manner for them and also for people in general. I have no complaints about his work.
