Dr Rawaf determined that I needed a referral and whilst I waited he kept me regularly updated. Since there was no response to the electronic referral after 3 hours he followed up with ER consultant and it was agreed I should have an MRI scan straight away. I waited quite a while but nevertheless felt I was being well looked after. At change of shift Dr Rawaf briefed me about various possible causes of my symptoms and explained the possible alternative impacts they might have on the clinical process.
