Dr David Oyewole

I was extremely lucky. I had been given a prescription for a totally unrelated complaint to my mental state, & it had had a very bad reaction, in that I became almost suicidal & hallucinating. I was referred to the Nightingale Hospital (luckily with good health insurance), & the original problem was treated with antibiotics, & I was weaned off the drugs relating to my mental state. A diagnosis of anxiety & depression had been decided (disputed by myself), & I am making good progress. Although there are a few challenges ahead & some “procedures” for the original problem are planned I am now confident that I am well on the mend, with Dr Oyewole’s help.. I am rather relieved that I do not play Bridge against Dr O as I think he would be rather fearsome competition.

Dr Oyewole is extremely pleasant, very calm and reassuring. He listens to you without judgement so he is able to decide what is best for your situation and you feel able to trust him with your concerns. He has an excellent grasp of different mental health issues (including more complex cases) and is able to deal with everything. I am grateful that he has bought me to a much better state of mental health and for the hope for the future that he has provided. Thank you

Dr. Oyewole was very helpful in explaining the treatment approach and plan for my wife’s depression. I felt reassured from the beginning and have seen a difference to her life already. He has given us hope again. She is also back at work after being off for so long. I cannot thank Dr. Oyewole enough.

Dr David Oyewole diagnosed me with ADHD after carefully listening to me and pretty much my whole life story. He was incredibly patient with me despite my probable rambling, and made me feel validated and secure while under his care. I was fortunate enough to have his oversight whilst under my medication titration period, and he provided the best care I've yet received from a medical professional. Not once did he dismiss any of my concerns, and took the time to talk me through everything. Unfortunately due to my being at work during our last consultation period I was unable to properly thank him for the impeccable service and care I'd received under him. Prior to my diagnosis and treatment I was struggling to just get out of bed, thanks to his help I'm graduating, have several job interviews and my mental health is better than it's ever been. I had the opportunity to be an observer this year for a 6 month period working alongside Dr Oyewole on an acute psychiatric ward where he is the lead Consultant Psychiatrist. I was exceptionally impressed with his knowledge, expertise and the care and respect he took of the patients when they were at some of the lowest points in their lives. I learned a lot from him and know that anyone under his care will be well taken care .off
