Doctor Lawrence is my nehrogly consultant and has been absolutely fantastic. In both my pregnancies he has called and make sure at each appointment that everything is going well and I'm getting the care I need. Before I was discharged at the hospital after my second baby recently, when I last spoke to Dr Lawrence he reminded me to make sure before I go home to get the midwives to do a kidney function blood test and luckily because he said this I mentioned it the day they tried to discharge me and they done the test otherwise it would of been missed but it turned out I had high renal function and ended up staying an extra 2 nights on iv fluid to get it down. Once they discharged me I had a kidney infection a week later I contacted Dr Lawrence's secretary and he called me the next day to make sure I was OK and on the correct medication. Since then iv had routine blood tests and everything is good now but I honestly cannot praise Dr Lawrence enough as he always goes into detail about my results and any questions I have he answers which gives me lots of reassurance. A big credit to the NHS. I wish most Dr's cared as much as he does.
