The process has been more emotional than I expected, and i really appreciate the care during our meetings. He has a lot of knowledge and interest, and I didn't feel uncomfortable talking to him at all. The improvement I've seen in myself is so stark since Dr Obuaya prescribed the adhd medicine. Its like night and day. He got it spot on first time I think. He was really happy for me, but also concerned that the pills made my tourettes worse and quite painful. I know he can't treat my tourettes, but he looked into something to help the tics alongside my adhd medication. He also gave me next steps for the next 6 months to keep me on track. I can get in contact with him/the adhd clinic if I need their advice. It's probably not something they (the clinic) need to be focusing on, but I've often heard there is a link between tourettes and adhd. It would be cool if there was some more knowledge about tourettes - but we didn't speak about this for very long so I can't comment on this knowledge. Not so much a negative, but every clinic is so separate. Some crossover could be useful.
