I have seen or spoken to Dr Raithatha on various occasions as he is part of the Pancreatic Team where I am reviewed.
As I have other issues from a pain management prospective it is essential that the Dr who is treating me has both an understanding of my past and present medical issues to be able to treat me effectively.
It is clear from speaking to him that he not only understands issues that patients face as regards long term chronic pain but his caring and concern for his patient is very evident in his communication skills which are exceptional. He goes the extra mile to give that extra health.
What is also refreshing about Dr Raithatha is that he is willing to work in partnership with the patient to discuss different perspectives of pain and it’s management to see what works and what needs to be reviewed.
You have to be a special doctor to treat long term chronic pain and I believe he has all he qualities and skills to do this.
I think any patient is fortunate to be treated by him
