Dr Chadalavada Bhanu was very kind and listened to me (and I genuinely felt he was listening to me). He put me at ease and reassured me that I was not wasting anyone's time. The appointment set up was very easy and straight forward, I usually get very anxious when making appointments but after explaining how I was feeling to my midwife, I had a phone call a few days later and an appointment was set up for me. I was then e-mailed a link for a Teams call and Dr Chadalavada Bhanu was on time. This, again, put me at ease. He sent me links to NICE guidelines and talked me through the complex information, which I wouldn't have been able to understand myself. After giving me all of the information needed, he gave me the choice of which medication I would like to be on, which made me feel I was in control, as well as advising me on my current medication. He also included my partner (and 2.5 year old) in the decision making, which I feel is a very important part of the process, as we are going through it as a family. I would strongly recommend this service to any Mum-to-be that is struggling with her mental health as this is the first time I have experienced it. Thank you very much Dr Chadalavada Bhanu.
