Doctor Braithwaite returned my phone call regarding a problem with my ventolin inhalers not being included in my repeat prescription request. Rather than just correct the matter by authorizing my chosen chemist to give me the usual 2 inhalers, he discussed and reviewed my usage of the inhalers. It was a short, but thorough investigation regarding the state of my asthma, and he resolved it by suggesting an additional and, I think, more effective 2-week trial by reducing my somewhat ineffective Ventolin inhaler from 2 to 1 per month and increasing my Fostair from 1 to 2 per month. Furthermore, Dr. Braithwaite has emailed me a very informative short paper on Asthma and how to increase the efficacy of my inhalers. Dr. Braithwaite will phone me in 2 weeks to assess my progress.
