I have recently had the pleasure of working as a junior colleague to Dr. Olatoye in a busy Acute Medical Unit in the north-west of England. I have directly observed his interactions with hospital inpatients and found both his communication skills and clinical judgement to be consistently excellent. He is empathetic, approachable and always willing to share his knowledge and experience with colleagues. He is an excellent role model for junior doctors and I would feel comfortable and reassured if he was in charge of my care or the care of my loved ones.
