suggestions
- active listening : tune-in to the patients mode of( verbal and non-verbal) communication and establish rapport;
- communicate empathy to the patient
- show interest in patients problems and support rather than "fix" the problems with prescribed medication
_ be prepared to find out information re conditions you have not treated before and find out who to refer the patient to-may take a bit extra time but will make a difference to the patient's quality of life
