suggestions - active listening : tune-in to the patients mode of( verbal and non-verbal) communication and establish rapport; - communicate empathy to the patient - show interest in patients problems and support rather than "fix" the problems with prescribed medication _ be prepared to find out information re conditions you have not treated before and find out who to refer the patient to-may take a bit extra time but will make a difference to the patient's quality of life Thank you

I just wanted to leave good feedback and say thank you to Dr Inkster as she went out of her way to make a hospital appt for me when I was not expecting it and called to update me with the details. This was something completely unexpected and it's nice to know that doctors are proactively looking at your case and looking out for you in this respect...
