Dr. Vaze was extremely understanding and supportive. Knowing that one has got adhd at 52 is rather overwhelming. In way and I regret I didn’t have the courage and acceptance to have looked into my mental health earlier, as I suffered from low level depression for a long time. In fact I had been doing things like meditation and mindfulness courses but never stuck to anything for the duration to see change. This assessment has also given me a much greater insight to my drinking regime which was essentially medication.
I now need to take the next steps and move forward.
