I had a pyogenic granuloma removed by Dr Ah Weng and saw him three times. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was informative, highly professional and inspired a great deal of confidence. His evident enthusiasm for his work was marvellous and his sense of humour and lovely light-hearted manner, made the whole process almost enjoyable! I should think that he is an inspiration to his staff and this, sadly, is a rarity these days. Great doctor!

Dr Weng removed a BCC from the tip of my nose using Mohs surgery. At every stage of the process I saw him personally (3 visits) rather than a second in command. He was fantastic, putting me at my ease and taking time to explain thoroughly what my options were, what he recommended and why and any pros / cons I needed to consider. The actual clinical procedure was over quickly and relatively pain free. All the staff in the dermatology department were fantastic and I feel that the culture is probably led by the consultants such as Dr Weng. I have had procedures carried out privately and I feel that my experience with the NHS compared very well indeed - yes, you have to wait in clinic a bit longer and yes the building is older and in need of more investment but the clinical care is first rate.
