My brother was diagnosed with testicular cancer in May 2015. He was devastated with the diagnosis and was referred to Dr Birtle. She saw him within days and from this first appointment my brother was given hope, and felt that Dr Birtle cared about him personally. I accompanied him to every appointment and Dr Birtle spoke openly to both of us giving all the details of the cancer and the treatment. My brother was given a course of intensive chemotherapy and followed all the advice given by Dr Birtle. He is now really well . I cannot speak highly enough of her care for her patients but also of her expertise as an oncologist. We returned for a check up appointment yesterday 2nd May 2017 and Dr Birtle was still as encouraging and caring, greeting my brother like an old friend. I must also commend the staff at the Rosemere Centre for their care and compassion. Gold star treatment from all involved.!
