I have seen Dr Birtle just the once so far, maybe a month ago, but I'd forgotten she had given me the card enabling me to provide these comments. However I have been enthusiastically letting everyone who comes to see me know how uplifting I found that 1st meeting. She was lovely, immediately putting me at ease with her very welcoming smile. and her saying that she wanted to see me, something I'll never forget. She sat close to me , all the time looking at me as she was explaining everything and the reasons for the treatment I could have . My family were there with me too and were able to ask questions afterwards , , but it was me she spoke to. We all really felt that she had looked into every possibility and what she was suggesting was the right one for me. We all came away feeling that we could trust her and how very blessed I'd been to be one of her patients. And I unhesitatingly would recommend her. I cannot thank her and the NHS enough for every way they are helping me at this present time.
