I suffered a very nasty ear ache, and after two A&E visits (as directed by 111) and a visit to private sector, I was finally able to get an appointment at Barkantine. I was incredibly lucky to be scheduled to see Dr Ahmed-Shuaib. He listened to all of my complaints, had a look at the ear and performed a procedure and prescribed medication. Within 48hours the pain and the main issue was gone. I would also like to mention that the surgery was incredibly busy and it was late during the day - yet he did not let it show in his mannerisms.
Later on i had a follow-up consultation and received some additional advice.
He is truly an asset to Barkantine and being a doctor is clearly not just an occupation, but a vocation to him.
