I suffered a very nasty ear ache, and after two A&E visits (as directed by 111) and a visit to private sector, I was finally able to get an appointment at Barkantine. I was incredibly lucky to be scheduled to see Dr Ahmed-Shuaib. He listened to all of my complaints, had a look at the ear and performed a procedure and prescribed medication. Within 48hours the pain and the main issue was gone. I would also like to mention that the surgery was incredibly busy and it was late during the day - yet he did not let it show in his mannerisms. Later on i had a follow-up consultation and received some additional advice. He is truly an asset to Barkantine and being a doctor is clearly not just an occupation, but a vocation to him.

I had an appointment today with Dr Ali Ahmed-Shuaib. One of my colleague recommended and it was an amazing experience today I had. Doctor Shuaib was a fantastic person and a hidden gem for the Barkantine Clinic. He listen to us with patiently and given his full concentration on my sons problem. This is what I call a great Doctor and great care for the patient. I can and K would definitely recommend Dr Shuaib and his clinic to everyone I know without any doubt and without any hesitation.

What a service Dr Ali Ahmed-Shuaib provides. Suffered with blocked ears for 2 weeks after returning from holiday. Never had this treatment before but would totally recommend it. The blocked ears have made me feel low for a couple of weeks but now I have had them unblocked I feel so much better. Many thanks Dr.
