I saw Dr Mayet when I had concerns about a mole on my torso. He was thorough in his examination, and although he thought on balance it was non-malignant, he decided to refer me to Broomfield Hospital for further tests just to be sure. His thoroughness was proved right, when it turned out to be an early malignant melanoma, and his caution, at the least, got me early treatment, and potentially even saved my life.
