I was a patient of Mr. Head-Rapson at Ormskirk Hospitals Pain Management Clinic. That was until Monday the 8th of August 2016 but he has discharged me as his patient now because he has now left the Hospital trust to go work at Renacres Hospital. I met him several years ago when my Neuropathy Pain was getting increasingly more difficult for my own GP to keep my Pain Levels under reasonable control & I will always remember the very 1st day I met him because this man was a GodSend to me that very 1st day because he never once interrupted me & not once did he even try to rush me & even though he completely understood me 100% & knew exactly what I was going to say, he never tried to put words in my mouth. He listened to every single word I had to say, unlike my GP who always seems to be in a rush & half the time tries to finish my sentences for me. Where as, Mr. Head-Rapson has never done that, not ONCE. Although I am going to miss him very much & I appreciate all that he has done for me up untill my last visit which I felt like he has left me high & dry because I no longer have a Pain Management Specialist & my own GP has refused to take over my prescriptions so, I have no clue what is going to happen when I am going to need my next prescription. Why could he not have transferred me & his other patients to our new Pain Management Specialist at least 1 month before leaving. I trust this man with my life & I will always be thankful for having the oppertunity of knowing him but I do think he could have done a better Job near the end because now I have no-one to turn to when it comes to getting my prescriptions for my Pain Medication. As I'm sure that many, if not ALL of his Pain Patients also feel.
