Well, anonymous “patient”, I attended West Suffolk Hospital yesterday for a Colonoscopy performed by Dr. Mawas and his Endoscopy support team.
Every member of the team led by Dr. Mawas, and especially the doctor himself, took part in that invasive investigation and surgical procedure with the epitome of care and consideration towards me, keeping me informed and checking my ongoing comfort throughout.
Dr. Mawas listened carefully to my own views about the need for sedation/pain control, explained the options, and the decision we reached together was primarily led by me, which totally contradicts your opinion that he doesn't listen.
The entire staff of the Endoscopy department - doctor, nurses, receptionists, porters, all of them - were absolutely beyond reproach, so perhaps the supercilious attitude reflected in your anonymous attack might have been the problem. And yes, as a qualified doctor, Dr. Mawas certainly does "know better" than you about medical issues.
