Prior to my accident I was a reasonably fit seventy two year old male. I had what at first appeared to be a small accident carrying a box weighing approximately 10kg. However within a few days the pain in my back became severe to a point of walking from one room to another became very difficult. In consultation with Mr Khurana a very in depth diagnosis of the problem was given and the possible options open to me. I opted for surgery and the likely hood of success and the potential negatives of the procedure were explained to me in detail. Now some eight weeks later I am walking without pain and on the road to regaining my previous level of fitness thanks to the excellent treatment and care of Mr Khurana and the staff at St Joseph's hospital.
