Hi there! I'm Michaela

I am a Specialist Paediatric Dietitian working full time within the NHS at Evelina London Children's hospital - one of the top paediatric hospitals in the UK. I am also a qualified lactation consultant.

I have gained substantial experience in a variety of specialities and conditions including Premature Infants, Breastfeeding Support, Congenital Heart Disease, Coeliac Disease, Faltering Growth, Allergy, Fussy Eating and more. In my current NHS role, I have specialised as a Neonatal Dietitian, and I work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I have recently opened a private practice (Michaela Smith Dietetics Ltd) to provide after hours virtual consultations to patients that require more urgent support or those that are unable to be seen within the NHS.
