I started my Journey in the summer of 2016 when I was 24 years old, having never really ventured into a hospital before I was immediately put at ease after meeting with Dafydd. He was totally invested in myself and what I had to say. He took down everything I had to say, my concerns, my aspirations. These would later be discussed at each appointment and how I could improve myself and my care. I always felt I could message Dafydd whenever I needed, when I feel into some slight medical problems he was the first to really understand and seem concerned about what was happening, he helped to make my own doctor listen and if it wasn't for him I would have not been treated as quickly as I was. He has been a life saver through my entire journey, literally! He went above and beyond and took a real interest in not just my medical life but at how my life is going as a whole as he fully understood how my journey was more than just my eating but the factors of my life that influenced my weight. Having appointments with Dafydd every few months was like therapy for me. I feel if he keeps doing what he does then he will keep changing lives. Nearly 2 years down the line and with all the information that he has given me I am at the best place I have ever been in my life and I have succeeded in ways I didn't know I could have. I would say anyone who gets to be treated by Dafydd are sure to succeed and have a whole new beginning and I wish them all the luck and I would say I am slightly jealous they get to work with him.
