Mr Alkhaffaf is a very approachable Consultant. Makes you feel at ease and explains everything fully in terms that you can understand. I felt very confident that I was in the best possible hands to have my gallbladder taken out. He took into consideration that I was very nervous about having the operation and most of all being put out for the operation. He went out of his way to calm me down. After care was excellent.

Three years ago from today, Mr Alkhaffaf and his team performed cardio-oesophagectomy on me at the MRI. I am now in excellent health (provided that I manage my dietary intake!). I lead a full life, largely concerned with painting, and in the last three years have been on holiday in England, Scotland, Venice and Paris, and am off to the Arctic soon. While I was in hospital under Mr Alkhaffaf's care he was frank and informative but sensitive and caring, and made himself directly responsible for my wellbeing throughout my treatment. I was informed about what would happen step by step and the staff were very kind and friendly and made me feel comfortable.
