Admission time after consultation was excellent. Every effort was made by the co-ordinator and surgeon to accommodate a relatively tight time frame before my taking a short holiday on the Continent. Dealing with this co-ordinator was a considerably improved experience compared with a previous one two years earlier The process was almost the same as for a similar operation 2 years earlier except for pre-op. tests, which although passed, the results were not made available until I requested them from the nurse at the post-op. consultation. I was also put on a drip for reasons not made known to me at the time. The post-op consultation with the surgeon and subsequent physio appointments showed fine personal consideration. Notwithstanding the communication issues mentioned in the preceding paragraph, above, and the fact that I'd had a similar procedure two years earlier and therefore knew what to expect, the entire process more than met my expectations.
