When I contacted Smart tms I was sceptical that it could work, after all I’ve been this way since my teens. I spent a lot of time on the phone with Leah who talked me through the procedure and she put me in touch with Chloe who would be my technician when I finally decided to go ahead. I had an assessment with Alex which I did at home which made me feel more comfortable. The clinic in Birmingham was easy to find and comfortable. I think Smart tms just have a room and there are lots of other services there too. The receptionist was very professional. I am forever grateful to Chloe for all of the time she spent with me. I thought I would sit quietly while the machine worked it’s magic but Chloe became almost like a friend and I looked forward to seeing her. I had a break between my sessions as I wasn’t sure I was feeling better and it was expensive but as the days went by I realised that the intrusive thoughts and anxiety type feelings were becoming less of an issue. I chatted to Melony who was doing her training and she got me booked into have more sessions to finish what the kind doctor had recommended. My gp has helped me wean off of my medication and I am travelling all over Europe with work and finding that I am enjoying it rather than spending the whole trip terrified. I have recommended the treatment to my family and friends and hope that they will see the amazing impacts that I have seen in themself.
