I was referred to my GP on February 22, diagnosed on August 22 and finished titration on October 23. It was a long journey and am very happy about how I was looked after during the last year by the prescriber assigned to me and my consultant. I had been unexpectedly diagnosed with combined ADHD, with hyperactive behaviours being the most unexpected and difficult to figure out. Finding the right medications was not straightforward. I have found an exceptional service in terms of care and responsiveness. Every time I experienced uncomfortable side effects, I was offered prompt advice and provided with alternative medications until I found the right ones. I did not expect to be able to find some stability and have still a lot to go in terms of changing my behaviours but medications are helping. I hope that this review will help someone insecure like me, and help them to face this journey with confidence and trust that they are in good hands.
