From the very start this has been a wonderful, accessible and helpful experience. I had struggled to get diagnosis and treatment through my GP due to long waiting lists and could not afford to be treated privately. The proforma referral letter to start the process was enormously helpful to someone the Neuordiversity as this would normally be a barrier. The initial sessions were thorough and rigorous but considerate, Dr. Gupta, my psychiatrist, took time to really understand my situation and descriptions of symptoms, scheduling extra sessions when matters were not fully resolved. Dr. Hassan my titration specialist, monitored my progress closely and was always on hand to answer queries, acting quickly to change my medication when required. The process is all online, but that was very convenient and in no way should be assumed that this is not a professional service, I've had more time and detailed interaction with PUK than I have had with my GP in person. The support teams are really efficient and considerate, when I've need to call up or check anything they are always super helpful and have called me to arrange appointments. The resulting treatment, has been life changing, and it would not have been possible without the team at PUK. I can't thank them enough.
