Movicol and Laxido have same chemical formula when you read the active ingredients. Difference seems to be Laxido has flavouring. Had initial nausea from Laxido but not Movicol. Both are improved by adding flavoured squash to them on top of recommended water amount ( not instead). Needed it post surgery and found a short dose to effect relief was enough but the macrogols stay working in the body for up to 2 weeks giving effective relief. Then repeat as required. Can make you explosive to begin with and need the loo a lot for a day or two but worth it. Can be taken long term if nec.
