I suffer from constipation due to the iron and calcium supplements I have to take. This makes life much easier and more comfortable. I find though that it can give terribly smelly wind. So I find it is better to take it first thing in the morning or last thing at night. It is better than all the other laxatives I have tried as you don't get stomach cramps or diarrhoea. It just makes the stools softer.
