Steroid injection
3 reviewsReviews
Immediate reduction in knee swelling and gradual reduction in pain.
The injection was relatively painless and I have now changed from feeling mild discomfort when using my shoulder e.g. when opening the fridge to no discomfort at all. So much so, I pulled the handle off the fridge.
I had a steroid injection in my shoulder following a procedure to remove excess calcification in my shoulder joint.
I was able to drive and work at a computer directly after the treatment and it gave me the ability to exercise the shoulder fully in the coming days without the pain I would otherwise have had (and would probably have stopped me doing the exercises).
It lasted about 5 days and my only comment would be that, although helpful for the pain, it made it difficult to tell if what I was doing in the meantime was working (physio) and whether the actual procedure had been a success.
