Chris is a fantastic physiotherapist. He helped me a lot after my second ACL surgery.

Profile

Grad Dip Phys, MCSP

Chris graduated with distinction from Guy’s Hospital in 1990 and began his career in the NHS working for the Greenwich Health Authority. Alongside his role as a senior out-patient therapist Chris began his role in the physiotherapy team at Fulham FC. He was soon appointed First Team Physiotherapist, and over the following ten years developed the role to head up the multidisciplinary Sports Medicine Team covering the entire professional squad. During this time Chris covered around 900 professional games and won 2 League Champions medals and three promotions.

Chris has also worked with athletes from the Sierra Leone sprint team in preparation for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, as well as acting as physio for the England Legends team for Socceraid in 2006.

Chris joined Physiocentric in 2001, and became a partner the following year. His work with elite athletes supplements a skill set aimed at achieving maximum results, which he enjoys applying to all injuries and conditions.

Chris utilizes a predominantly manual therapy and corrective exercise based approach, and is also trained in the use of our isokinetic dynamometer.

In his spare time Chris keeps fit by running, playing football and league cricket, as well as being involved with coaching both sports for his sons’ teams. He is also a Child Welfare officer and qualified cricket umpire!

Chris offers clinics in both Wimbledon and Hinchley Wood.
