Barming

This pharmacy has gone downhill, there’s not enough pharmacists to cope. If you use electronic repeat prescriptions it’s never ready even if you wait 10 days and then they keep you waiting for up to 1 hour to dispense it. Also I’ve noticed at least 6 notices put up saying you mustn’t abuse the staff, maybe if they got their staffing sorted out people wouldn’t get so frustrated. I have changed to another chemist. The counter staff are very nice, shame they are working under such a cloud

I like this store, some staff are nice but there are one or two that seem unhelpful and even rude, they keep you waiting a long time - A few years ago a female pharmacist insisted I take a cheaper brand of heart pills, even showing me the price difference - she insisted on this even though I told her I am not supposed to change brands. I believe as a direct result of this I developed a serious red rash on both legs which turned into an infection, I was ill for about three weeks and thought I would end up in hospital. I received an apology from a member of staff but not the pharmacist. I seldom go in the store now as I am always in great pain from arthritis in my hips and back but my wife continues to use the store. We check our medication thoroughly.

Have been very impressed by all staff at all times. The 'shop' itself is suffering from old age, there are security 'traps' and forecount needs servicing.
