The recommendation was very clear - I don't need glasses for VDU use, despite my last two-visits to other opticians resulting in glasses and me pointing out that laptop use for me at work is compulsory and I need glasses to use one but don't when I use a desktop PC. I regret going to Boots and will certainly never go again. If you want an assessment for work glasses, avoid going to Boots.

Staff on the reception desk at Queensgate didn't seem very friendly as didn't smile at anyone

When booking online the two Peterborough boots opticians are not clearly labelled I thought I had booked to attend the cathedral square boots opticians but it was actually the queensgate one. However when I was at the wrong one they were very polite and directed me to the right one The staff at the queensgate store were friendly and there was no wait for any of the machines or to see the optometrist
