To be honest I wasn't & am still not happy with my experience at Boots Epsom. Intinal visit and eye test was good and help choosing my glasses was fine the lady was pleasant & helpful. 2nd visit booked in advance, to try out contacts & have a teach. Once seen by the optician was told I couldn't have the teach as they where short staffed so will have to come back. Pre booked for a week later as Mondays is my day off. That Monday I get a call to say they are short staffed & are cancelling my appointment! I explained I wasn't happy & didn't want to be cancelled again, they wanted me to change to another day and I explained I work that wasn't possible also I wasn't happy to wait yet another week for my teach. Eventually we arranged I could go at 11.30 although this meant I had cut short an interview I had arranged for my business & re arrange another pre booked appointment for my mother who is 92 taking her to the dentist. So although I did get to go on that day it made my day difficult having to change the time as I also had to re jig my other appointments. Once there The teach was good & my new glasses were ready. One pair perfect the sunglasses were unexceptable! They were verifocals and I could only read with them if I pushed the glasses up with my finger to alien that part of the lens with my eye to read. They were adjusted but still no good. The staff member said she would have the lenses changed to 15mm as this would bring the reading part of the lens up & should rectifie the problem. I was happy with that so I paid the outstanding balance and took the perfect pair leaving the others to have the lenses changed. I then get a call saying this can't be done with a polarised lens so will have to be with out? No thank you, I chose that because it's better for driving I would like them to be polarised . Well it can't be done? It's been left that when I go back I will look at different frames but they have to be the same price? (I'm not happy about this as it limits my choice) Or I have said I would like a refund as I'm not paying all that money for verifocals that I can't read with! This is the whole point of them. I am really not happy with this whole experience & as I feel right now don't think I'd rush back when my next test & new glasses are needed.
