Neil the optician was great and took care to make sure I found the right contact lenses to suit me. The staff in the waiting area were unfriendly though, I was ignored when I arrived and then eventually told to sit in a chair and then ignored until Neil came through to call me in.

The eye test was very thorough and the experience so far (I haven't received my glasses yet) has been both friendly and professional.

One of my main aims of the eye test was to get a retinal scan but wasn't, available and staff said had been out of action for weeks. To have technology the helps keep a historical record of the health of the optic nerve / retina and not use / have available is a very poor service that you might expect 20 years ago. Very poor.
