I had my first eye test at Boots Opticians today and it was a very positive experience. Karishma the optometrist was amiable and professional and explained everything very clearly throughout my eye test, including my retinal photographs. Anne assisted me with choosing my new frames and was very friendly and helpful and explained the different coating options for my new lenses. Credit also to Sam who originally booked my appointment for me and assisted with the measurement of my frames. The whole process including my retinal photography, eye test, choosing of frames and related paperwork was all done within an hour. The staff are very efficient and I felt very welcome. I would definitely recommend this particular Boots Opticians to others.

The otition did not arrive. My 7 year old son was booked in for 11am and I had a contact lens appointment at 11.25. This was very frustrating as we had made a special trip. Zara who was the assistant manager on duty was very apologetic and gave me £10 for the inconvenience. The most worrying thing was that there was no back up for this optician not arriving. I appreciate that she was not resident at the store however it's a very dangerous way to operate if no backups are in place.

I was assisted by Anne when I went to choose some prescription glasses and sunglasses. She was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. She explained everything very clearly and gave me all the information I needed to make an informed decision. She made some great recommendations using her vast knowledge of the available products as well as explaining the relevant costs. I was particular impressed that she allowed me time to think and make a choice without being pushy on sales. She is a great asset to the Branch and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I felt confident that the people who conducted my tests were very capable and that I was in safe hands. The optometrist made all the checks clear and worked patiently and efficiently. She kept me informed throughout.

It was such a pleasant experience (it always is at this branch). I actually mentioned this to my optometrist. She was patient and answered all my questions in terms I could understand. She is a new member of the team ( she said this). As a senior manager myself, she is a keeper!
