My wife has been a customer of Dolland and Aitcheson now Boots for around about 50 years. I have been a customer for around 30years. Last night my wife had a serious fall onto hard floor tiles while in Spain. Her nose suffered as she hit the floor. Her spectacle frame was broken. She is in need of replacement glasses. She rang Boots Doncaster North Bridge branch and asked if she could have a copy of her script for her eyes so she could get replacement glasses whilst continuing her winter holiday in Spain. We were told Boots were unable to give this information. The staff were polite but not able to offer help throughout the telephone conversation. We were contacted again by Someone from Boots, I have his name should any one require this information. He was very understanding and helpful, trying to help us. In short the staff have been very sympathetic to my wife’s plight and we hope that the script can be forwarded to her soon. Good news the script has been sent direct to my wife, we are now off to Granada for new glasses. Boots North Bridge Branch Jodie, Nathan and Adrian and every one involved in achieving this, you have made our holiday so much more pleasant. Also we have now returned from the opticians in Granada who has been able to fix my wife up with some temporary replacement frames and her new glasses will be ready next week really glad we are still in the EU and this service could be facilitated Thank you one and all.
