The assistant helping me was brusque and impatient on my second visit. I was made to feel I should not be making a nuisance of myself asking that the glasses I bought be adjusted. The glasses were and still are a bit loose. I am going away for couple of months so cannot go back, and most importantly would not really want to, to have them properly adjusted. The assistant did not even have the good grace to say thank you and good bye at the end of my visit. She just walked away having clipped my glass cases shut. I do not expect this kind of treatment and was rather put our by such lack of courtesy. I doubt I shall be visiting Boots opticians again. Particularly that during my first visit at the time of paying for my glasses, the cash desk retained my boot advantage card. This I did not notice until I visited another Boots branch and noticed the card missing. I telephoned the Canterbury branch and was informed my card could not be found. I was not offered any help. I did that twice and then phoned your central office where a very helpful assistant cancelled my card and issued a new one. 5 minutes later the Canterbury opticians rang to tell me the card has been miraculously found. All in alll not a very nice experience. In their favour, my £30 off a pair of glasses voucher was redeemed. even though it was sent to me the day I ordered the spectacles. Well at least that's something. Overall not a pleasant experience however.
