Optometrist was difficult to understand and appeared to be in a rush to get my test done. I felt like she didn't have the time or patience for me. Other staff were very good.

The reception staff were very good Rosie and Chris where very good. Rosie took plenty of time to explain all the options on extras I could have with my lenses and was very good in assisting me find frames suitable for my face size and shape I was very impressed by her. The optometrist was very thorough indeed although I feel she could have been a little more patient & more aware of touching eyelashes whilst carrying out the examination & a little more gentle on touch. As a person who suffers with extreme anxiety issues. I did feel very uncomfortable during the examination.

Good experience, especially the care taken to help me select new spectacles. The questions asked by the receptionist at the start of the process were superfluous as the essential clinical questions were asked by the optometrist during the eye examination.

It is only a suggestion that any optician checking the eyes should use either some sort of mouth freshener or mint. They come very close to your face and sometimes the normall smell of the mouth is not very pleasant. For men optician if they got long hair should have in some sort of hat so it won't go into the mouth of the patient. Long hair was the only reason I opted out for lady optician.

I have met the same optician a few times and she always seems to be very thorough and in her examination and friendly , I don't always understand what she is saying easily and have to ask her to repeat or ask other staff. My appointment ar 16.30 was running half an hour late which is a bit annoying as getting away from a busy nhs work environment early isn't always easy. It's a shame there isn't a toilet that can be used for people, as a pregnant lady rushing from work to make the appointment time, I asked if thete were facilities to be told nobthereceerent any, so just needed to hold on and wait til I got home. 75mins later.
