There was a locum optometrist working last year when I had my annual eye test. He said my eyes were a lot worse and I paid about £480 for new glasses. I could still not see any better ( ie my golf ball when playing ).I went back to Boots for a retest and was told I was near to not being able to drive and advised to go to the cataract clinic. I have now had Multifocal Toric lenses fitted. I have been told by Boots today I have 20/20 vision and the very helpful manager has replaced my old glasses with 2 pairs readers 1 pair of reading sunglasses and night driving glasses for the grand sum of £10 together with the total refund on the last years glasses. Fantastic service thanks Craig.
