I have many opportunities to judge the service of nurses. Perhaps a rather special one is, during my RAF service, flying members of Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service with a patient in their care. This could range from a pilot who had been injured during an ejection from his aircraft to a soldier who had dived into an empty swimming pool - not a rare occurrence! Recently I have had two major operations within six months of each other. This is a lot of nursing and Lynn compares very well with these compatriots. I think the intimacy of her work and how it has to be performed is not the easiest nursing task. Lynn does it well. She made me feel quite comfortable with the situation. Her examination was professionally done and I was pleased that she volunteered that I needed new support garments. I wish her well.
