I have just been discharged after 7 days, I have been an inpatient in many hospitals, but I have to say that Ysbyty Gwynedd was the best hospital I have attended. I actually came through A & E and yes the wait was excessive about 17 hours but given the circumstances of the NHS now it was understandable. Also not all the hospitals fault because once I was being admitted to go to the ward my Covid test came up positive which meant I had to be isolated so this took more time.
From the A & E department to the Conwy ward both Drs and Nurses provided excellent care, although they are stretched with the amount of patients I was made to feel the only one there. Very thoughtful and thorough. I do need to say how good the Porters and Domestic staff were to they worked so hard.
The food was lovely and a great selection. People in general are always quick to write a negative review but not many take the time to share a positive one.
I can not fault anything with my stay there.
